adrivargo-1After graduating from the College of William and Mary with a BS in Biology, Adrianna pursued further education in agriculture and horticulture. As nursery manager at the Center for Historic Plants at Monticello, she conducted workshops and published articles in Fine Gardening magazine. Prior to joining Local Food Hub in 2010, her family operated a diversified farm in Louisa County for 10 years. She has experience maintaining both NOP and USDA GAP certification. As Director of Grower Services for Local Food Hub she provides support services and technical assistance to partner farms with an emphasis on quality assurance, on-farm food safety practices, having assisted over 15 farms achieve USDA GAP certification. She is a frequent training collaborator with Virginia Cooperative Extension, serves as a member of the Southern Center for FSMA Training based at the University of Florida, and is a certified trainer for the Produce Safety Alliance. localfoodhub.orglocalfoodhub
