The founder and executive director of the non-profit organization the Virginia Industrial Hemp Coalition, Jason Amatucci has been at the forefront of the Virginia hemp movement and has been directly involved with the writing and the passing of legislation that has legalized the research and commercial production of industrial hemp in the Commonwealth.
Jason is often seen advocating for hemp in Richmond at the General Assembly at the State level and in Washington DC at Congress on the National level. He also advocates and educates at various events throughout Virginia and the United States during the year. He is currently working with members of Congress to create and pass legislation to legalize industrial hemp at the National level.
Jason the owner of the Virginia Boxwood Company which cares for many of the large American and English boxwood specimens across the state from historical sites to large estates and Universities. Jason resides in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Nellysford Virginia.
