About the Market
Fall Line Farms and Local Roots (FLF&LR) is a non-profit online farmers market based on a cooperative model of producer work-sharing for driving and delivery of orders. We provide opportunities for producers of all sizes to reach our members all around the Richmond and surrounding area.
Our members order as much or as little as they like while our buying pages are open, then pick up on Thursdays (Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving) from a pickup location of their choosing. Producers bring their orders to the designated drop-off point Thursday morning, where we sort the orders according to pickup location. Many of our producers then help us with driving those orders out to our sites where they are prepared for pickup by our members that afternoon. We are constantly buzzing each week!
$12-$15 per hour, 20 – 25 hours per week
We’re an equal opportunity employer. To apply, email your resume and cover letter explaining how your skills and experience meet the needs of this role. Use the subject line: Operations Assistant. The position will remain open until filled. No phone calls, please. Thank you for your interest!
