Supporting women in agriculture has been a priority for many organizations and people across Virginia, and is continuing to gain momentum.  The latest ag census illustrates an increase number of women farmers in Virginia and nationally.  The Virginia Beginning Farmer & Rancher Coalition has an action team working specifically to address this area of programming. Annie’s Project is one way to do this, but there are many efforts that support women in agriculture. We are interested in learning what programs and opportunities for women farmers are happening across the state, and what opportunities you want to see take place in the future as an initiative.
