The Virginia Association for Biological Farming (VABF) is the recipient of the next 5% fundraiser day at Whole Foods – Short Pump (Richmond) on Wednesday, May 22. More sales equal more funds raised for VABF, so stop by to shop. While there, visit VABF staff and volunteers at their table. There will be information about how you can support organic farming in Virginia, special rates on membership, and incentives for joining or renewing: any new or renewing members will get a discount for future purchasing from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, the chance to win a basket of Virginia wines, VABF merchandise, or the new book Sustainable Market Farming by our own VABF member Pam Dawling. Plus – we’ll have a sweet ewe and lamb to visit with mid-day.
