Hello,

I am a farmer/rancher/regenerative agriculture supporter, and a constituent of Senator/Representative _________________.  I am contacting you today to express my concern about the economic uncertainty and the impacts the federal funding freeze is having on farmers and food systems.

I’m asking Senator/Representative __________________ to act to ensure the USDA honors its legal obligations on signed contracts and releases payments to farmers and the organizations that work with them.

Additionally, to provide strong leadership for continuing and enhancing the programs that encourage soil and water conserving farm practices, and those such as EQIP that enable small farmers to grow our food and build viable businesses.
