VABF Ambassador Program
Role: The Regional Ambassador is VABF’s representative for promoting biological farming and VABF and other events related to biological farming and recruiting members in their region. The Ambassador will sit on the Membership Committee of the VABF Board of Directors.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit members through outreach to farmers, other interested individuals, and organizations in their region
- Plan and implement educational and outreach events in their region
- Promote biological growing
- Provide content each month on biological farming and farm/community events in their region for VABF e-news and social media; provide content for regional webpage on VABF website
- Promote VABF events and biological farming by presenting VABF through attendance at regional meetings in-person and by sending information on events to regional organizations with social media, newsletters, and listservs
- Quarterly meet up with assigned regional board members
- Be a point of contact for VABF members in your region.
