Join Local Food Hub and VT/VCE for an 8-module course designed to give growers a chance to brush up on FSMA’s Produce Safety Rule (PSR) and deepen their understanding of Qualified Exemptions and PSR inspections in Virginia. Modules are short and include real-life examples from Virginia farms. Participants who fully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. Course opens January 1 2022.
Module Topics Include:
Review of the Produce Safety Rule, Worker Training, Animal Risk Management, Cleaning and Sanitizing, Post-Harvest Handling, Required Records, Qualified Exemptions, and OFRR and PSR Inspections.
